Learn U.S Building Codes, CSI Master Format Codes, Wood-Framed Construction, Scope of Work Breakdown, Bidding Process Management, PlanSwift Estimating & Takeoff Software, and much more.

After completing the training, we will extend you a certificate to credit you as a trained estimator proficient in PlanSwift and On-Center. All certified estimators will have the opportunity to be hired to provide services for any of our multiple clients in the U.S.

Estimating Training Goals:

  • Learn to properly understand and manage construction documentation such as RFPs, Submittals, Project Specifications, and Permit Plan Sets. Understand and analyze structural details and typical notes seen in wood-framed construction and other construction used in the U.S.

  • Learn to use the CSI Master Format Cost Codes to breakdown cost estimates, bidding proposals, and budgets.
  • Learn to manage a proper Request for Information Process (RFI) and interaction with clients.
  • Learn to perform accurate and Quantity Takeoffs, Bill of Materials, and Hard Cost Estimates using trending software such as PlanSwift, On-Screen Take-off, and Quick Bid.
  • Learn to perform accurate and cost-efficient Bidding Proposals for new custom homes, multi-family buildings, home renovations, exterior renovations, accessory dwelling units, roofing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
  • Learn to elaborate Bid Packages to request bids from subcontractors and vendors, and properly evaluate incoming proposals to award contracts to the best bidder.

  • Learn to manage the entire construction bidding process through construction management software such as CoConstruct. (Master the entire software workflow to use it integrally with the estimating department tasks.)

  • Learn to provide a detailed scope of work and budget to our project managers and operating field personnel on project execution.
  • Learn to interact proficiently with our clients’ architects, engineers, and construction managers to plan, estimate, and control efficiently multiple construction projects.

Candidates Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Student in Architecture, Civil / Industrial / Electrical Engineering, Construction Professional, or equivalent field. (Required)

  • Basic comprehension of construction documentation such as: request for proposals, project’s architectural and engineering specifications, bid package, and plan sets.

  • General knowledge of the residential or multi-family construction process and methods. (Construction on-site experience preferred)

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Proficient English Skills (Ability to read, understand, and write).
  • Results-oriented professional with the ability to commit to extensive training and demanding training goals necessary for certification.
